Maple VoxBox Review

Recently I was chosen to receive the Maple VoxBox (very Canadian, eh?) from Influenster and I was really excited to see the products that would come inside. When I got it I couldn’t wait to dive right into it and start testing out some of the products! The box has a good assortment of makeup as well as food items which I thought was great.
Skinny Cow Milk Chocolate Dreamy Clusters ($4.29 – 4 pack) – These are seriously amazing! They are milk chocolate with crisps and caramel in the center and they taste so delicious. They are also 120 calories per package and I am definitely going to start buying these for a quick, cheeky snack.
Skinny Cow Milk Chocolate Heavenly Crisp (4.29 – 4 pack) – Another product from Skinny Cow that I am in love with. It’s a wafer covered in chocolate that is very light and is perfect for a quick snack on the go! This is only 100 calories per bar, not bad!
Ice Breakers Duo Raspberry ($1.99) – I wasn’t sure if I was going to like these, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that I love them. One side is raspberry, while the other side has a cooling effect to it and together they taste phenomenal. It freshens your breath and it’s a treat to eat! My boyfriend is a fan of these as well because he keeps eating them non-stop!
NYC Big Bold Plumping Lip Gloss ($4.99) – This lip gloss is certainly big from the packaging to the applicator. The colour I received was Big City Blush and at first glance I thought it was going to be a frosty disaster but luckily it just turned out to be a lightly tinted gloss that gives your lips a full, pouty look. It’s a bit sticky but it’s not uncomfortable by any means and stays put for quite a while. I really like to use this on it’s own or as a topper for lipsticks. It has a smooth formula that just glides across the lips nicely which is a step up from previous NYC glosses that I have tried.
NYC Big Bold Curl Mascara ($4.99) – I really like the wand on this mascara as it has a ton of bristles that disperse the product really well onto my lashes and it is curved to really get into the root of your lashes. However I do wish the wand was a bit smaller though as I am always afraid that I’m going to hit my lid and have a huge mascara mishap. The mascara has more of a wet formula so if that isn’t your thing you may not like this mascara. It may work great for doubling with a lengthening mascara to get maximum volume and curl!
Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-On Manicure ($8.99 – $10.99) – I haven’t had the chance to use these yet as I am currently rocking a gel mani at the moment, but I have heard that these work really great and I can’t wait to try them. They are a short length leopard print and I’m sure they will look fierce on the nails!
Montagne Jeunesse Clay Spas ($2.49) – I really love using masks but I do not do it often enough! Just cleanse your face, apply the mask, and relax for 15 minutes while it works it’s magic. The mask has kind of an gross smell, but nothing too bad, but it made my skin feel really soft and gave it a nice boost of radiance. I will definitely be trying out some more of these in the future!
