AngelContacts.com Review & Giveaway

Today I have an amazing and exciting post for you! I recently received two pairs of circle lenses from AngelContacts.com, and I can’t wait to share my review with you! If you are interested in learning what circle lenses are, how they can enhance your eyes, and even have a chance to win a pair for yourself then keep on reading!
Circle lenses are cosmetic contacts that beautifully enhance your eyes. The diameter of circle lenses is larger than your everyday contact lens, and is 14 mm in diameter. The larger diameter creates the illusion of a biggier iris, and gives you natural, larger looking eyes. Circle lenses come in a variety of colours, styles, and are a great addition to your cosmetic kit. They are great for special occasions, or even everyday wear. They can really add interest to your look, and with all the different styles and colours you really can create any look under the sun! Best of all, they even come in perscriptions from (0.00 to -7.00).
The contacts came in a very cute package. It came with my two lenses, a pink lense case, a thank you card with instructions on how to open up the bottle (very helpful if this is your first time opening lenses like this), instructions for your lenses, and a card with their email on it so you can contact them if you have any questions. I really like that every came in a very small, neat package. I really appreciate the attention to detail. It also came with a booklet with all the information you need to know about the company and the lenses they offer!
The two pairs I chose were the GEO Hurricane Gray lenses, and the GEO Angel Violet lenses. I decided to go for the more bolder looking lenses because I felt they would compliment my eyes the best. I am not a contact lense wearing newbie by any stretch, I have worn many. I was pleasantly surprised to find that these lenses are extremely soft. I did not experience any blurred vision, irritation, and found these lenses very comfortable to wear. Keep in mind, these are not lenses that you can wear for extended periods of time. You can wear them for a maximum of 8 hours. I don’t suggest wearing them any longer than that.
Another thing to mention is make sure you are getting the right perscription for your eyes. They only come in negatives, so if you are in the positive unfortuantely you won’t be able to get them in your perscription. However, you can definitely get the lenses in non-perscription and wear them under your glasses no problem! Also be aware of the base curve. If you have flatter/rounder curve to your eyes (ex: 8.4 or 8.8mm) these lenses only come in a BC of 8.6 mm. That’s definitely something to keep in mind when purchasing. Take care of your eyes, and consult your optometrist if your BC is different or have any questions.
The violet lenses are a bolder circle lens, and are very sexy and sultry. I loved the way they looked in my eyes, and I’ve always wanted purple contacts. The GEO Angel Lenses have 5 different colours for you to choose from. I paired the purple lenses with a silver and gray smokey eye. I popped some gold glitter liner on the inner corner, you can never go wrong with glitter! You could also wear a more natural look to go with these lenses, that would look superb!
The gray lenses are stormy and beautiful. I love the intricacy of the pattern on them. One thing I noticed was that one of my lenses was perfect- very dark and vibrant with a dark outer circle- and the other one was faded, not nearly as detailed, and the outer circle not nearly as dark. I’m not sure if maybe I just got a defect but that was kind of dissappointing. I did a gold, purple and teal look to compliment these contacts. I like how you can see my blue eyes through the pattern, I thought that was pretty cool. You can pick up these Hurricane Lenses in two colours, gray and brown.
All in all I think these circle lenses from AngelContacts.com are a hit. They are great if you want to jazz up your eyes for a special occasion, or even if you’re someone who wants to change the size or colour of their eyes for everyday. You can purchase these lenses from their website for $20-$25 each and they have a great selection to choose from. I look forward to using these lenses in my future looks.
